Product Overview

The EFL3 Series explosion proof flood light is designed to deliver high lumen output and the ultimate protection for facilities that store, refine or manufacture combustible, flammable or ignitable materials. The heavy-duty, anodized die-cast shell is coated with long-lasting, and durable electrostatic surfacing. This extra protection prevents over voltage and heating, as well as the build up of electrostatic energy.

This highly configurable luminaire can be ceiling, wall or other surface mounted, and angled up to 180° to fit any application. The Class I Division 2 rating makes this fixture suitable for wet hazardous applications including those that are outside, such as near salt water or other corrosive elements.

CLASS I – DIVISION 2 (CID2 – Group A, B, C, D-T4A)

Application where volatile or flammable liquids or gases are handled, processed or use and are normally contained by mechanical ventilation, but that could become hazardous due to mechanical failure.


Applications where combustible dusts or powdered metals are sometimes present and therefor hazardous. Combustible dusts include: electrically conductive dusts (such as powdered metals), carbonaceous dusts and agricultural dusts.
